Client. Shefali Pall, Owner - Alkalizer Restaurant Campbelltown

The Vision. Shefali came to me with her idea for her restaurant. She had the location, the name and a lot of research behind her. Her unique idea and vision for Alkalizer was for her restaurant to be a community hub for people to feel welcomed, healthy and inspired.

Marketing. She wanted much more than a logo and marketing material. She wanted a marketing plan for her pre-launch, launch and the first 6 months. She also has so many beautiful products such as tea, chocolate and coffee that she wanted beautiful and unique packaging for.

How we helped Shefali.

Brand Strategy.

We spent time with Shefali really listening to her ideas about the food she wanted to serve and the people coming to her restaurant. Then we really looked at who these people were, so that we could then design and create all marketing and packaging with these ideal customers in mind.

Logo/Branding.

Shefali wanted the logo to have an earthy, wholefoods look about it. She explained to us what Alkalized water is and the impact on our bodies it can have. We created the logo with the leaf symbol and water drop to communicate her tagline - Nourish Balance Renew Energise. The fonts we chose have a really natural freedom to them, hand drawn vibe which helps Shefali communicate that earthy feel that she wanted and also that the food is carefully sourced and prepared by real people.

Marketing Plan.

Pre-Launch. We provided Shefali with a marketing plan for the 3 months pre-launch phase for social media which involved lots of catchy, attention grabbing posts to start getting a community of her target market together.
Launch. Shefali wanted her opening to go off with a bang! She decided to have a traditional ceremony with all the local members of council, local business owners and members of the community. We helped her with the guest list via social media and printed invitations. We organised the entertainment - Luke Koteras, photography as well as event presentation, setup, and schedule.
Post-Launch. We developed a strategy for Shefali for the first 6 months after her restaurant had opened that involved social media marketing, advertising in the local In Macarthur Magazine, radio and cinema advertising and workshops/community groups booking events at the restaurant.

Packaging/Retail Products.

We designed a range of retail products for Shefali to sell in the restaurant and online.

  • Tea packaging with 8 different labels for the 8 varieties of teas.

  • Coffee packaging

  • Water bottle for the alkalized water

  • Chocolate bar packaging

In the Restaurant.

We designed and printed a range of items including:

  • Menus printed on kraft enviro paper

  • Napkins with logo printed

  • Coffee cups

  • Loyalty cards

  • Gift Vouchers

  • Stickers for takeaway bags, sealing containers

  • Business cards

  • Signage outside, parking signs and information signs

  • Posters for in-house marketing
